Opal E. Fisher

	Opal E. (nee Killingsworth) Fisher, 95, of Freeburg, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2002 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville.
	Mrs. Fisher was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Freeburg.  She was born February 7, 1907 in Perry County.
	She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Fisher, whom she married April 30, 1927 and who died April 27, 1983; her parents, Robert and Rebecca (nee Neville) Killingsworth; a great-granddaughter, Kelly Fisher; a sister, Audry Stowers and three brothers, Clyde Killingsworth, Edward Killingsworth and Robert 'Earl' Killingsworth.
	Surviving are a son, Bobby J. (Marilyn A.) Fisher of Smithton; granddaughter, Jean Flora (& Ron Morris) of Altamont; grandsons, Bobby J. (Crystal) Fisher Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C. and Charles W. Fisher of Smithton; great-grandchildren, Scott Flora, Keshia Nelson, Bobby Fisher III, Jason Fisher, Jennifer Fisher and Jill Fisher; great-grandchildren, Desiree Nelson, Samantha Jennings, Christina Jo Flora and Scott Flora Jr. and sisters, Ruby Larocca, Mildred Farthing and Alma Lloyd.
	Funeral services were held Monday, November 11  at 11 a.m. at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home in Freeburg with Rev. Earl Crecelius officiating.  Interment was in Smithton Cemetery in Smithton.
	Friends called Monday at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home in Freeburg from 9 to 11 a.m.
	Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Freeburg.
